Boulder Organic soups can be found in Fred Meyers store's fridge in the deli section.

My store didn't have all the varieties but the selection that were there were pretty good for us since we are vegetarians. I chose Red Lentil Dahl since I am familiar with red lentil and had been eating this a lot since I was a little kid.

This soup had fairly less ingredients and all the ingredients are very simple and easy to understand and I am very familiar with them.

The soup is very easy to make just pour the required quantity in a microwaveable bowl and heat. I like hot soups so I heated it until I got it heated to the right temperature.

I added some finely chopped raw yellow onions ( for the crunch), cilantro and serrano peppers.

The soup has some vegetables like carrots, mushrooms. But I could see the chunks of carrots like in this picture. My husband and I totally loved it and we have planed to buy some more containers and keep it in the Fridge. Once the container is opened then the contents  needs to be used  with 3-4 days. But ours was gone with in 2 days.

They are slightly expensive but totally worth it. We are planning on trying some other vegetarian varieties like Leek and potato, Green Chile corn Chowder and Creamy Tomato soup. They all sound good so it will be very hard for us to choose.

Red Lentil Dahl soup has 200 calories/ cup and 12 grams protein ( a vegetarian's dream numbers)  and 8 grams of fiber.

There are three servings/container
